New Carpet

We are installing new carpet this Wednesday , Thursday and Friday so the store will have a lot of shelving moved around. We will be putting in carpet in the front third of the store on Wednesday, the middle on Thursday and the rear on Friday. Part of our parking will be taking up by the carpeters’ truck. Sorry for any inconvenience but the store will look much nicer.

We have added another tab to the website for “Comics”. If you click on it, you will see this week’s comic releases, as well as books that have come out in the past two weeks.  Most of them we will be able to re-order for you if you miss a title.

D&D Open Gaming License

WOTC announced today that the Open Gaming License (OGL), under which outsiders can produce material for the D&D game, will not get published until early in 2015. Interestingly, the announcement focuses on fan-created material, with no mention of how it might apply to professional publications. Many of today’s RPG copanies, esp. Paizo, Green Ronin, Troll Lords and Privateer, trace their origins back to the release of D&D 3.0 and the original OGL.
