While going through the stockroom, we found 3 of these Fireball templates for Dungeons & Dragons that date back to the 3rd edition. While they last, purchase $50 worth of D&D books or miniatures and get 1 free.
Remember, we play Dungeons & Dragons here every Wednesday evening and are getting ready to start up a 2nd night on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. for higher level play.
Come join us every Wednesday night for Dungeons & Dragons. We currently have three tables running each week and will look into a 4th if we get more players showing up.
The long awaited Volo’s Guide to Monsters arrived Friday. We will only carry the limited edition cover, which will only have one printing, until they sell out, at which time we will shift to the regular cover, so if you want the limited cover, get it now.
We are going to see significant changes to the Organized Play program for Dungeons & Dragons starting in March.
Most current information we have is that the 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual will release on Sept. 19.
We just received a stack of out of print RPG books, mainly D&D but a set of books for the Wild Talents RPG. Of note in the D&D books are Tasselhoff’s Map Pouch: Legends and Tasslehoff’s Map Pouch: War of the Lance. These last two indicate why pricing used books is such a dicey business as online prices vary widely. Take the Map Pouch: Legends. Pricing on it ranges from about $24 to almost $1000, depending on where you shop.
For those of you wanting to take a look at D&D 5th edition, WOTC has posted a PDF of the basic rules here. If you would like to know the difference between the Basic Rules and the 5th edition Starter Set, look here.
