Pokemon Pre-release and HeroClix Release Tournaments

We have two release events come up on Sunday July 23, one for Pokemon at 1 p.m. and 1 for HeroClix at 3 p.m. The Pokemon Burning Shadows Pre-release costs $30, $40 if you want a copy of the pre-release player’s mat (Price on it goes up toe $19.99 after the pre-release). Each player will receive a player’s pre-release kit from which to build their tournament decks. At the end of the tournament, players will receive 2 participation packs, plus 1 additional pack for each round won.

The HeroClix DC What If Release tournament takes place at 3 p.m and costs $30 to enter. Players will receive 2 booster packs of the brand new DC What If set from which to build a 300 point team. Prizes will include maps of the “High Noon Saloon”  and the Hourman LE figure. See you this weekend.

Hour of Devastation Pre-release

Hour of Desolation pre-releases take place this weekend at midnight and 2 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. (or whenever the 12:30 tournament ends, whichever comes later). We only have a handful, about a dozen or so, seats left for the weekend so if you want to secure a set, you can still claim one for $30.

Amonkhet Pre-release

Pre-registration for the Amonkhet pre-release closes at 9 p.m. tonight. We are running 4 events at Midnight the morning of April 22, 2 p.m. the afternoon of April 22, 12:30 the afternoon of April 23 and a two-headed giant tournament at 4 p.m. on the 23 or whenever the 12:30 tournament ends, which ever comes later. If you pre-pay by tonight for all 4 events, the cost is only $80 and you receive one of the store limited edition pre-release playmats as part of your entry. If you prepay for 1 to 3 of the events, the cost is only $25 per event and you can purchase the playmat for $9.99. After the pre-release, the playmat will cost $19.99.  See you this weekend.

Aether Revolt Pre Release

The Aether Revolt Pre-release starts at midnight the morning of January 14. As of this posting, there are 19 spaces still available across the 4 tournaments.  Each space costs $30 or you can sign up for all 4 for only $100. See you tomorrow night.  We will open at 10 a.m. Friday January 13 and close around 4 a.m. on January 14th.

Kaladesh Pre-release

The pre-release for the new set of Magic, Kaladesh, takes place this weekend. We will open at 10 a.m. on Friday. Sept. 23rd and close about 4 a.m. Saturday for the first pre-release. Pre-releases take place at Midnight Saturday morning, 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon  then again at 12:30 p.m. Sunday and 4:30 (or whenever the 12:30 p.m. tournament ends) p.m. All of the tournaments are sealed deck, except the 4:30 Sunday which is a two headed giant. Entry is $30 at the door or $25 for any single tournament if prepaid by 9 p.m. Sept. 21. $80 for all 4.  Players entering in all four also receive a limited edition Castle Perilous playmat. Getting ready for the Kaladesh Pre-release on September 24 and 25. 4 tournaments, Saturday morning at 12:01 and 2 p.m. that afternoon, then at 12:30 and 4:30 (or whenever the 12:30 tournament finishes, whichever comes 2nd). $80 for all 4, $25 for any 1, if you register by September 21, $30 after than.  We will give away a From the Vault:  Lore to one lucky player during the weekend.

Magic’s Eldritch Moon Pre-release takes play the weekend of July 16 and 17. We are running 4 events that weekend:  midnight and 2 p.m. tournaments on Saturday and 12:30 and 4:30 on Sunday. The 4:30 Sunday event is a 2-headed giant tournament. All 4 tournaments cost $80 or $25 for an individual tournament if you pre-register by July 13 at 9 p.m. Otherwise they are $30 at the door.  Players who play in all 4 tournaments will receive a limited edition store playmat.
