Most current information we have is that the 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual will release on Sept. 19.
WOTC recently announced they were pulling the plug on their Kaijudo TCG. Some comments about it and why the game failed on the store blog.
We just received a stack of out of print RPG books, mainly D&D but a set of books for the Wild Talents RPG. Of note in the D&D books are Tasselhoff’s Map Pouch: Legends and Tasslehoff’s Map Pouch: War of the Lance. These last two indicate why pricing used books is such a dicey business as online prices vary widely. Take the Map Pouch: Legends. Pricing on it ranges from about $24 to almost $1000, depending on where you shop.
We have a limited number of From the Vault: Annihilation sets for Magic arriving. If you have a Preferred Customer card, we will sell you 1 From the Vault set at list price. We will only have a limited number of sets available for Preferred Customers to purchase though, so get your order in early.
Other ways to get FTV sets are to play Friday Night Magic. Everyone who shows up for 4 Friday Night Magic sessions between now and the end of September will get entered in a drawing for the opportunity to purchase a FTV set at list price. Each additional session you show up for beyond 4 earns you one additional ticket.
We will also have a drawing for the opportunity to buy a a FTV set from among players in the next Magic Pre-release for Khans of Tarkir. Each pre-release you play in earns you one ticket into the drawing.
Without any notification, Betrayal at House on the Hill crept back in this week. Quantities were allocated but we do have a few copies remaining
For those of you wanting to take a look at D&D 5th edition, WOTC has posted a PDF of the basic rules here. If you would like to know the difference between the Basic Rules and the 5th edition Starter Set, look here.
